The new season of 2006 has started. We hope we all will have another fuin year!

After achieving smashing hit in Germany, Switzerland tour, TeraTaiko starts to built a legend of selling all out tickets, and showing spectacular new stage after inspired by the world tour. Going for world and domestic, next scheduled tour will be in Australia, New Zealand, Italy, and over 100 shows are booked already in Japan alone. Though spreading into two teams and actively performing globally, from end of June to mid-August, not scheduling any show, focusing on Renewal project of TeraTaiko's home base spending this two months as a long-term charging up, refreshing period.

Steveston Tera Taiko is the first organized taiko group in Richmond, BC and only the second youth taiko group in the Vancouver area. They formed in December of 2000 from the Dharma School (Sunday School) of the Steveston Buddhist Temple in Richmond. Their instructors for the first two and a half years were Mr. Shinobu Homma and Ms. Naomi Shikaze, from Chibi Taiko. They have been performing for three years. Highlights include: Western Washington University "Culture Shock", UBC Festiva concerts, Aldergrove Canada Day Celebration, North American Sumo Championships, school shows, and collaborative performances with Chibi Taiko, Megumi Taiko, and Yamabiko Taiko.

What is Steveston Tera Taiko?
